It was the world in which I was raised. I have learned to translate that to the camera, as I have no desire to kill these birdies. I keep both eyes open as much as possible, tracking the bird with my naked eye and trying to find it in the zoom with my other eye. When the two come together and the camera cooperates, I get good BIF shots. Not saying it is easy, but that's what I do.
