Golden Healers
The shock of Sandy Hook...the sheer mercilessness of it...has left me foundering on the rocks, helpless. But into this psychic shell hole bravely walked these beauties, bearing the face of love. They tell their own tale with tails and noses and glorious golden coats that soak up the tears and fears and emptiness, leaving smiles in their wake.

Helpless describes my feelings as well. And I have spent a lot of time hugging my two resident Golden Retrievers.
