Scenes from the back yard

Grades are in, and another semester is mostly in the books.  To borrow a line from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, I'm pretty much in "fire bad, tree pretty" mode, mentally.  This summer promises to be busy, but hopefully not too busy to write some poetry and post some pictures.  For now, enjoy these snapshots:
Silly squirrels...need I say more?
Yes, ma'am!

A handsome visitor to the suet cake!

And life is good at the cement pond :-)

Aaahhh!!!

Great shots of the squirrel and birds. I loved Buffy. It was genius - and so healthy minded!

Happy spring. Fire bad, trees good. Your mind will come back to you. Believe me.

You've got some talented dancing creatures there in your yard! I breathe a sigh of relief with you for the end of the semester and the almost dawn of summer. Not that my life is known by such markers but still, I can relate!

Nice photos! We have a cardinal nest in our wisteria this year. I have tried numerous times to capture a decent photo...but no luck so far.
