Scenes from Home

We visited family over Christmas, and it went well! Still, I always seek quiet time by watching birdies at my father-in-law's house and by driving around the countryside looking for sheep :-)

I love stalking their Northern Cardinals!

They have lots of House Finches and a few Goldfinches, too:

And Titmice!

And Bluejays!

And a shy Red-bellied Woodpecker:

And a Chickadee!

Oh, and this one I bagged for Lowandslow:

I have enjoyed my time visiting with dogs:
 Mollie

Mickey

Dear old Roscoe...my brother's dog

 And this Great Pyrenees!

  Who guards these precious sheep

What? You expected family photos? LOL! We've had a great visit with our families, actually...thanks for the many well-wishes, friends. We wish you all the best in the coming year!

Glorious images of our feathered friends, and of course dogs and sheep just make me think this post is just for me! Glad you've had a good Christmas visit with family and found companionable critters to balance the soul. Blessings to you, dear friend.

Ahh....the elusive Red Tailed Aluminum Hangar Dweller. Thanks for thinking of me. :)

Oh, woe. Roscoe looks sad, as might any dog with a chain attached to him.
