Rambling

I ramble home from school. There's just no other way to put it. I take the back roads, sometimes circling back to look at this or that, sometimes pausing or driving really slow on a back, back road to listen to bird song. If you don't do this, try. It is healing. Oh, and I take pictures:

A new gym...excuse me, "fitness center" has opened in our home town! I'm a charter member!

The proprietor, Charley Horse. He says pardon the mess. We have brooms, but a lack of commitment to the use of them, lol!

Snow, Crows, Moon and Hawks

It has been an odd weather week in OH, and the critters are restless.

 There was a full moon

 Maybe that explains all the crows

 Lots and lots of crows

 Bright moon

 Cold wind, spitting snow

 And lots

 and lots

 of crows

 And more snow

 and ninja squirrels

 I see hawks all the time, but today we saw two together!

 This one immediately flew up to a higher perch

 This one sailed low into a cornfield

 where it hid from us

 While the first one went on guard, circling overhead

 Majestic!

 Giving us a good flash of tail feathers

Yes, you ARE a red-tailed hawk!
