Wallowing is ok...for a season...
Well first...I love that image...is it one of your own photos? second...you are allowed a bit of wallowing...especially at the darkest time of the year...just another 2 weeks before the turn...hooray.
Gerry, yes, one of mine! I'm quite happy to have captured such a lovely image of a crow/raven. We have some spectacular ones here. Thanks, and hooray for longer days to come!
Finally catching up. I loved the past posts.I've always thought I might have a touch of seasonal affective disorder, especially when we lived in the perpetual darkness of Wisconsin winters. Just a few weeks until the length of daylight will start to increase. Only a millisecond at a time...but still in the right direction.
That storm crow gets around! Here's a prayer/poem for you:My PrayerLord,Only you knowwhat runs throughthe muddleof my head.Only you, knowwhere I’m reallyatOnly you, can undothe thoughtsthat sway mefrom your pathonly youcan keep me walkingon the straightand narrow roadto your heart, but I knowdespite my needingYouI need, alsoto find myselfon this ill-lit streetand open upto the lamp in thedistance.Or maybethe lampis inside meall the time.I just needto switch itON.
Sounds like SAD, Seasonal Affective Disorder. I'd suggest a week or two in the Cayman Islands. ;-/
Btw, CL, can you change my link in your sidebar to katmortpoems.blogspot.comThank you!
